POM C by Nylacast is a highly-crystalline, polyacetyl (POM) copolymer. Exhibits rigidity, low coefficient of friction, good dimensional stability and low moisture absorption. Shows a combination of strength, stiffness, wear-, hydrolysis- and creep resistance. Provides easy machinability, strong alkali- and thermal-oxidative degradation. Designed for processing by extrusion. Used in petrochemical, aerospace, automotive, food contact processing, transport, pharmaceutical, bottling and canning. Typical applications include rollers, switch collar, washers, bearings, load support, bushes, gears, bushes and pumps. POM C complies with UL 94 flame ratings.
