UNICAR® 1010 is a non-reinforced, highly crystalline polyvinylidene fluoride grade by Nytef Plastics. Exhibits chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, superior strength, excellent toughness, stiffness and stability. Shows extremely low moisture absorption, low permeability to gases & liquids and excellent UV & nuclear radiation resistance. Offers ultra-high purity and excellent electrical properties that remain stable over a wide range of frequencies and temperatures. It can be easily machined & fabricated and is available in a full range of heavy gauge rod, plate and tubular bar sizes. UNICAR® 1010 is used in chemical industry, pulp & paper processing, food processing equipments, electrical & electronic products, semiconductor manufacturing and petroleum processing. Sample applications include pump components, manifolds & valves, fluid sensors, liquid chromatography components, analytical instruments, semiconductor manufacturing clean room environments, components for power transmission and bearings & bushings. Complies with UL 94 V-0 flame rating.
