UNIPA® MLd

UNIPA® MLd is a nylon-6 grade by Nytef Plastics, reinforced with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2). Exhibits excellent toughness and superior abrasion-, outstanding chemical- and improved wear resistance. Utilizes nylon casting process to produce nylon 6 stock shapes. It can be easily machined & fabricated and is available in rods, plates and tubular bars, produced with very thick cross-sections, uniform physical properties and minimal internal stress levels. UNIPA® MLd is used in food & dairy processing, material handling, fluid handling, electronics manufacturing, automotive, paper manufacturing, textile production, construction and mining industries. Sample applications include pistons, valves, manifolds, food product forming dies, timing screws, scraper blades, wear strips, pump components, electrical components, gears, bushings and bearings. Complies with UL 94 HB flame rating.
