Akulon® PA6MG

Akulon® PA6MG by Omnia Plastica is a self-lubricating, semi-crystalline, polyamide 6 (PA 6, Nylon 6) grade derived from Akulon 6 and modified by the addition of colorants and additives. Possesses high toughness, good moisture absorption, high tensile strength and compressive strength. It is hard and brittle when dry & shock resistant and pliable when conditioned. Offers excellent price/performance ratio, good resistance to abrasion (even in dusty or harsh), fatigue and U.V. light. Can be processed by injection molding. It is suitable for molding into rods, sheets and tubes. Akulon® PA6MG is recommended for gears and cams, pulleys, rollers, plates and supports, guides and outdoor applications with sun exposure.
