OPaLene Y5808 by ONGC Petro additions is a high density polyethylene (HDPE) grade. Is a very hard and abrasion resistant grade, exhibiting high tear strength. Provides higher temperature resistance, low coefficient of friction and superior water vapor barrier properties. Possesses low degree of branching, hence stronger intermolecular forces. Designed for raffia and monofilament extrusion methods by slurry process. OPaLene Y5808 is recommended for cloth yarn.
