Osterlene® HB1049

Osterlene® HB1049 by Osterman is an extra high molecular weight hexene-based polyethylene copolymer grade. Exhibits good melt strength, good rigidity, excellent stress crack resistance and excellent impact strength even at low temperatures.

Designed for large part molding applications.
Recommended applications include blow molding large shipping containers, agricultural chemical- and gasoline tanks.
Extruded applications would include pallets, cattle feeders, large formed parts and boats.
Osterlene® HB1049 meets requirements of Food and Drug Administration, 21 CFR Section 177.1520.
This regulation allows use of this olefin polymer in articles or components of articles intended for use in contact with food.
