PENTAMID® AHT GV30 H TF15 black

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Pentac Polymer
PENTAMID® AHT GV30 H TF15 black by Pentac Polymer is a heat stabilized, water insoluble, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) modified polyamide 4.6 (PA 4.6) grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Possesses normal viscosity, easy flowability, low friction and better fatigue behavior. Provides higher melting temperature, higher crystallinity and a higher velocity of crystallization compared to polyamide 6 and polyamide 6.6. Offers higher water adsorption, good surface quality, mechanical strength, toughness and low creep tendency. Is smooth, greasy and shows weight reduction, higher shock and vibration adsorption. Exhibits excellent temperature, water and chemical resistance. It has best tribological properties (sliding friction, dry run condition) showing even better performances than parts made from metal. PENTAMID® AHT GV30 H TF15 black is suitable for processing by injection molding. Recommended for automotive applications such as housings, fixation parts, gears, air intake manifolds, impact plugs, cooling water parts, gearshift housings and fan wheels. Can also be used in slide bushes, valves, sliding rails, levers and transport slides. Complies with UL 94 HB flame rating and meets with the requirements of European ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2009 and ISO 50001:2011 standards.
