PP 410/401

PP 410/401 is a silane grafted crosslinkable high density polyethylene compound. Is curable by exposure to moisture. Is suitable for processing by extrusion. PP 408 is based on high molecular weight polymer and has melt flow index in the range of 0.7 to 1.0 gm/10min. Is a two component system comprising of silylated Ethlene Polymer known as the graft copolymer PP 410 and a master batch PP 401 containing a cross linking catalyst. The two materials are used in the ratio of 95 parts graft to 5 parts catalyst master batch. These materials are stable when stored separately but when mixed and exposed to moisture, cross linking takes place. Exhibits excellent extrudability at high output rate, excellent impact strength and good ESCR properties. Is suitable for use in contact with potable water up to 85°C. Used in manufacturing of pipes for various systems. Meets the internal pressure requirements of DIN 16892 and other international specifications.
