PTS PBT-6630

PTS PBT-6630 by Amco Polymers is a highly crystalline polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) resin reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Exhibits excellent wear resistance at low temperatures (less than 130°F), chemical resistance to most organic solvents and heat resistance. Possesses excellent processability, low polarity, low water absorption and good physical properties. Offers high heat stability and good electrical properties. PTS PBT-6630 can be processed by injection molding. Suitable for use in the manufacture of typewriter and keyboard buttons. The graphic for a particular button can be died onto the button by a process called sublimation printing. Other applications include gears, cams & bushings, electrical bobbins, rotors, connectors & relays, pump housings and impellers, auto distributors and starters and headlight brackets. Market applications include automotive, home appliances, electrical industry and structural parts.
