TRISTAR® PC-20GFR

TRISTAR® PC-20GFR by Amco Polymers is an amorphous, naturally transparent (to light) polycarbonate reinforced with 20% glass fiber. Exhibits good mold release, thermal resistance, high heat resistance, fair chemical resistance, relatively high viscosity and low melt flow. Possesses high strength, tensile strength, toughness, color stability, flexural strength, flexural modulus and heat deflection temperature. It has decreased impact strength and tensile elongation but good electrical insulating properties. Offers excellent dimensional stability and good processability. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Recommended for electric meter, housings & covers, casket hardware, portable tool housings, safety helmets, computer parts and vandal-proof windows & light globes. It has applications in equipment housings, exterior automotive components such as outdoor lighting fixtures, nameplates & bezels, non-automotive vehicle windows, brackets & structural parts, medical supply components and plastic lenses for eyeglasses. TRISTAR® PC-20GFR complies with European RoHS/WEEE and EC 1907/2006 REACH regulations.
