TRISTAR® PC-30GF

TRISTAR® PC-30GF by Amco Polymers is an amorphous polycarbonate reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Exhibits good mold release, thermal resistance, high heat resistance, chemical resistance, relatively high viscosity and low melt flow. Possesses high strength, toughness, color stability, flexural strength, flexural modulus and heat deflection temperature. It has decreased impact strength and tensile elongation but good electrical insulating properties. TRISTAR® PC-30GF offers excellent dimensional stability, good processability with low mold shrinkage and low mold temperature. Suitable for electric meter, housings & covers, casket hardware, portable tool housings, safety helmets, computer parts and vandal-proof windows & light globes. Has applications in equipment housings, exterior automotive components such as outdoor lighting fixtures, nameplates & bezels, non-automotive vehicle windows, brackets & structural parts, medical supply components and plastic lenses for eyeglasses. Complies with RoHS and EC 1907/2006 REACH regulations.
