PLASTRON® LFT PA6-GF60-01(L9)

PLASTRON® LFT PA6-GF60-01(L9) by Polyplastics is a polyamide 6 reinforced with 60% long glass fiber. It is processed by injection molding. It provides mechanical strength, dimensional stability, sliding and wear. It offers low warpage, high impact resistance and superior creep properties. It imparts high elasticity retention at high temperatures and superior impact retention at low temperatures. The reinforced glass fibers of same length are incorporated in the same direction in the resin pellet. It exhibits high rigidity and impact strength which is hard to achieve with conventional fiber-reinforced plastics, allowing the use of thermoplastic resins instead of metals and fiber-reinforced plastics (FRPs). PLASTRON® LFT PA6-GF60-01(L9) aids in reducing weight in industrial pump housings and joint parts for civil engineering pipes to various functional parts and structural members of automobiles and motorcycles. Recommended for bicycles, underground pipe fittings, baitcasting reels, fans and pneumatic tool bodies.
