XIRAN® SZ26080 by aurorium is an amorphous random styrene maleic anhydride (SMA) copolymer grade. Offers improved thermal- and dimensional stability and surface adhesion properties and melt viscosity in a number of polymer systems, specifically in acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA). Exhibits low VOC (volatile organic compound) content, high solvent solubility and glass transition temperature. Is able to form low-viscosity aqueous anionic salt solutions. Designed for extrusion applications.XIRAN® SZ26080 acts as a high-heat modifier in PMMA blends. Can be used in paper sizing, adhesives, coatings, leather retanning, pigments & inks, paraffin wax emulsions, solvent-based coatings, polymer composites and chemical intermediates.
