Alkatane® HD0840

Alkatane® HD0840 is a very high molecular weight high density polyethylene copolymer resin. Is suitable for blow molding applications. Shows excellent impact strength, good ESCR, strength and rigidity. An appropriate UV stabilization package should be added, when used for outdoor applications. Recommended for blow molding drums from 15L to 220L and supported IBC's to 1000L in volume. Is also used in Dangerous Goods (DG) applications, depending on the design of the container, the goods to be stored and the DG grouping. Complies with Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 and meets the requirements of FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 (c) 3.1a and AS2070-1999 section 4.1.1(a).
