Nylatron® SLG PA6

Nylatron® LFG PA6 is a natural (ivory)/blue, self-lubricating, heat stabilized polyamide 6 (nylon 6). Offers lower maintenance costs and longer service life. Exhibits high mechanical strength, stiffness, good fatigue resistance, excellent wear resistance, good electrical insulating properties and good resistance to high energy radiation [gamma- and X-rays]. Has high hardness & toughness, low coefficient of friction, high mechanical damping ability, good sliding properties and good machinability. Suitable for processing by gear rings & custom castings. Used in gears, sheaves, sprockets and custom parts. Potential applications include sleeve and slide bearings, wear pads, support and wheels, conveyor rollers, tension rollers, sleeves for rollers, pulleys & pulley-linings, fear wheels, cams, buffer blocks, machined pads, hammer heads, scrapers, seal-rings, feed screws, star wheels, cutting, Food packaging, chopping boards and insulators.
