Quadrant® PC 1000

Quadrant® PC 1000 by Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials is an unfilled, non-optical, non UV-stabilized, physiologically inert (food contact compliant composition]), transparent, amorphous polycarbonate [PC]. Offers stiffness retention over a wide range of temperatures, very high impact strength (even at low temperatures), good electrical/dielectric characteristics and high modulus of elasticity. Exhibits very good dimensional stability, high mechanical strength, good creep resistance, economical thermal performance, toughness, impact resistance & elongation properties. It absorbs very little moisture and resists acidic solutions. It is suitable for processing by extrusion. Quadrant® PC 1000 is used in electrical/electronic applications, laser housing, safety glazing, sight glasses & windows, parts in contact with foodstuffs, components for medical and pharmaceutical devices.
