HM- 274 by Ravago Manufacturing Americas is a low density polyethylene grade. It is a purge compound useful to speed transitions between colors or to prepare equipment for shutdown. Contains a combination of ingredients to flush polymer from the flow channels and mildly polish metal surfaces of colorants or other contamination. Also contains sufficient stabilization to be used as a shutdown purge. Exhibits good processability. Offers ease of addition and feeding into extrusion equipment. Complies with FDA.
