ISPLEN® PP 034 W3F

ISPLEN PP 034 W3F by Repsol is a medium melt flow rate polypropylene homopolymer formulated and adapted for bioriented film extrusion (BOPP) manufactured using the tenter process. It is recommended for the metallizable film. It offers very good optical, mechanical and barrier properties. It is extremely pure and has excellent thermal stability. It is cast free in nature. It possesses excellent processability and the ability to bio-orientate. It is easily colorable during the extrusion process using the right pigments, preferably in the form of concentrates with a higher melt flow rate than the base polymer. The rheological properties provide enhanced orientation and give it a very high break resistance in the melt, meaning that it behaves ideally during subsequent treatment. It is suitable for processing by low thickness sheet extrusion. ISPLEN PP 034 W3F is used in high tenacity staple yarn and packaging.
