SUSTAMID® 46

SUSTAMID® 46 is a brown colored polyamide 4-6 (Nylon 4-6) grade. Exhibits high absorption of moisture of up to 3.5 % in standard atmosphere, increased impact resistance, excellent sliding properties, high abrasion resistance, high stiffness and tensile strength also at high service temperatures, outstanding notched-bar impact strength, good machinability, good adhesive properties, good weldability and extremely high continuous service temperature. Used in electronic industry e.g. coil bodies, switches, sensors, parts for electric motors and chain adjusters and mechanical & plant engineering e.g. friction bearings, coil bodies, guide and clutch parts, gears and guide rails. Complies with REACH.
