PLEXIGLAS® Heatresist hw55 clear by Roehm is a copolymer based on methyl methacrylate (MMA) with comonomer constituents. Possesses increased heat deflection temperature under load and improved resistance to stress cracking and offers optimized inherent color. Exhibits high light transmission, good flowability, high mechanical strength, surface hardness, abrasion resistance and excellent weatherability. Suitable for processing by injection molding machines with 3-zone general purpose screws for thermoplastics. Designed for lighted keys, luminaire covers and fiber optics.
