ROTEC® ABS 1001 FR V0/5 by Romira is an easy flowing, flame-retarded acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) grade. Possesses excellent surface finish, high gloss and good processing properties. Exhibits good chemical- & UV resistance and thermal stability. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Possible applications could be bathroom equipment, automotive, engineering, writing utensils and seat-belt locks (i.e. child safety seats). Other applications include lock systems, medical, shower heads, arm rests, electric kettles and coffee machines. Suitable for tea & coffee pots, helmets, toys, first aid kits and chairs. ROTEC® ABS 1001 FR V0/5 is also used for remote controls, plated articles, housings for telephone and telecommunication (ISDN housings), vacuum cleaners, loudspeaker and computers. Complies with UL certification.
