EMI 162 is a light weighted polypropylene (PP) grade filled with 15% stainless steel fiber. Is electrically conductive and provides electromagnetic shielding (EMI), radio frequency interference (RFI) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. Exhibits excellent chemical resistance, good heat resistance and easy processing. Designed for injection molding process and possesses good mechanical properties. Possible applications are manufacture of antistatic storage containers, cases for electronics and conveyor bushings.
