EMI 261 A

EMI 261 A is an EMI/RFI/ESD protective, tough, abrasion-resistant nylon (polyamide) 6 grade reinforced with 10% stainless steel fiber. Exhibits strength, stiffness and chemical resistance to hydrocarbons. Shows improved surface appearance, creep resistance and processability compared to nylon 6/6. It can be processed using injection molding. Suitable for use in applications where toughness, lubricity, and wear are important, such as gear wheels. Applications include automotive (fuel systems), electrical, electronics, medical (pMDI & DPI inhalers) and industrial (stationary & handheld work lights, instrument housings, electronic part handling totes, housings, fittings and components for fuel dispensers, conveyor rollers and guides) markets.
