ESD C 1480

ESD C 1480 is a carbon fiber reinforced and electrically conductive polyethersulfone grade. Exhibits ESD protection, high temperature performance, dimensional stability, low mold shrinkage and inherent flame retardancy. It has an outstanding ability to withstand exposure to elevated temperatures in air and water for prolonged periods. In spite of being high-temperature engineering thermoplastic, it can be processed on conventional injection molding equipment. High mold temperatures generally assist mold fill and reduce molded-in stresses. Suitable for applications requiring close tolerances and little dimensional change over a wide temperature range. Recommended for electronic enclosures, stationary and handheld work lights, instrument housings, electronic parts handling totes, housings, fittings and components for fuel dispensers, conveyor rollers and guides.
