PermaStat® 2501 FR

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by RTP Company
PermaStat® 2501 FR by RTP Company is an all polymeric, permanently antistatic, flame retardant polycarbonate and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (PC+ABS) alloy reinforced with 10% glass fiber. It offers electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. It provides colorability, dimensional stability, transparency, good processability and toughness even at low temperature. It shows high heat distortion temperature, low temperature impact resistance, low fatigue endurance, poor chemical resistance and weatherability. It exhibits increased ignition resistance, reduced smoke & fume generation, speed of flame spread and heat release. It can be processed using injection molding. PermaStat® 2501 FR is recommended for automotive, healthcare, electrical & electronics and industrial applications. It is used in filler necks, fuel valves & filters, bexels for electronics, electrostatic painting, inhalation devices, ECG sensors, pipette tips, sterilization cases, EMI housings, fittings & components for fuel dispensers, conveyor rollers & guides, fuel system connectors, bezels, wire & cable coatings, tape storage products, strain reliefs, control housings for pumps, motors & test equipment, HVAC drain pans, plenum space covers and vents. It complies with the RoHS regulation.
