RTP 1002

RTP 1002 is a crystalline, high molecular weight polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) grade reinforced with 15 % glass fiber. Exhibits low water absorption, good moldability & strength, rapid crystallization, good dimensional stability, high heat resistance, good chemical resistance & resistance to oxidation in hot air, short mold cycle and good electrical properties. Can be processed using injection molding. Recommended for pump & tool housings, HVAC base pans & fan blades, panels, handles, brackets, components used in heavy equipment, plumbing fittings, valve bodies, and gears for conveyor drives & power tools.
