RTP 1002 FR A

RTP 1002 FR A is a crystalline, high molecular weight, flame retardant polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) reinforced with 15 % glass fiber. Exhibits increased ignition resistance, reduced smoke & fume generation, speed of flame spread & heat release, easy flow, excellent physical properties, good processing properties, good resistance to oxidation in hot air, low water absorption, good moldability & strength, rapid crystallization, good dimensional stability, high heat resistance, good chemical resistance, short mold cycle and good electrical properties. Can be processed using injection molding. Recommended for electrical & electronics, and industrial applications including housings, connectors, bezels, wire & cable coatings, tape storage products, strain reliefs, control housings for pumps, motors & test equipment, HVAC drain pans, plenum space covers and vents. It complies with the RoHS and UL94 V-0 flame rating.
