RTP 1385 C AR 10 TFE 15 is a 30% carbon fiber- and 10% aramid fiber reinforced, 15% PTFE lubricated wear resistant polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) resin. It is of low viscosity. Offers excellent chemical resistance, high temperature resistance, high modulus, flowability, dimensional stability and electrical characteristics. It is processed by injection molding. Recommended for housings, gears, discs, wear rings, bushings, and impellers used in pumps, motors, and meters as well as rollers, linkages and wear strips used in conveying systems. Can be used for automotive applications like instrumental panels, sunroofs, seating, airbag retainers, door systems, fuel systems, pedal boxes, sensor housing, front end modules, drivetrain and shifter bases.
