RTP 1385 TFE 15 by RTP Company is PTFE-lubricated, carbon fiber-filled polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) grade. It offers wear and friction resistance, reduced stick-slip phenomenon by selecting materials based on Glide Factor data and surface protection for highly aesthetic parts (such as scratch & mar resistance). It provides cost-effectiveness, buzz, squeak and rattle (BSR) noise reduction and enhanced performance (enhanced mechanical, chemical and temperature resistance). It can withstand with high temperatures, pressure, velocity, chemical and demanding tolerances. It can be processed using injection molding. RTP 1385 TFE 15 is suitable for tribological applications including bearings, bushings, gears, highly cosmetic parts, piston heads, pulleys, rollers, seals, skid plates and syringes. The use of desiccant type dryer is recommended.
