RTP 2000 HC FR A

RTP 2000 HC FR A is a UV stabilized, flame retardant polyester alloy. Exhibits excellent resistance to hospital cleaners & disinfectants even when molded in stress conditions, good physical properties, good UV resistance, impact resistance & dimensional stability, resistance to cracking & degradation, and good colorability. Offers improved quality and service life of medical devices. Can be processed using injection molding. Recommended for parts, housings & equipment for medical facilities, such as enteral feeding pumps, drug infusion pumps, blood filtration equipment, X-ray & ultrasound machines, MRI equipment, beds, IVD testing equipment, dialysis machines, EKG devices, mobile devices and other patient contact applications. Complies with the UL94 V-0 flame rating. RTP 2000 HC FR A can be used as a direct replacement for other amorphous resins such as PC/ABS and PC/PBT. It is also available in sheet format in thicknesses ranging from 0.02 – 0.25”.
