RTP 204 D TFE 15 FR

RTP 204 D TFE 15 FR is a flame retardant, PTFE lubricated Nylon 6/12 (PA 6/12) grade reinforced with glass fiber. Offers an excellent combination of physical strength, moduli, wear resistance, low moisture absorption and ignition resistance. Exhibits good friction-, scratch- and mar resistance. It reduces stick-slip phenomenon by selecting materials based on Glide Factor data. It replaces oils and grease applied in messy secondary operations with internally lubricated plastics. It is able to withstand high temperatures, pressure, velocity, chemicals and demanding tolerances. Provides buzz-squeak-rattle (BSR) to eliminate noise caused by part movement and vibration with economical compound technology. Possible applications include bearings, bushings, gears, highly cosmetic parts, piston heads, pulleys, rollers, seals, skid plates and syringes. RTP 204 D TFE 15 FR is suitable for processing by injection molding.
