RTP 205 A MS 5

RTP 205 A MS 5 is a tough, abrasion-resistant nylon (polyamide) 6 grade filled with 4% molybdenum disulfide and 30% glass fiber. Exhibits strength, stiffness and chemical resistance to hydrocarbons. Reduces friction between moving parts and hence eliminates expensive, time-consuming, secondary operations associated with external surface lubrication. Shows improved surface appearance, creep resistance and processability compared to nylon 6/6. It can be processed using injection molding. Suitable for use in applications where toughness, lubricity, and wear are important. Applications include bearings, slides, gears, cams, pump impellers, bushings, rollers and sliding components.
