RTP 205 D

RTP 205 D is a nylon (polyamide) 6/12 grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Exhibits reduced crystallinity, low water absorption, strength, heat resistance, chemical resistance (excellent for weak alkalis and good for weak acids-, organic solvents-, hydrocarbons- & fuels), wear resistance and lubricity. It can be processed using injection molding. Suitable for applications requiring good physical properties, moisture resistance and good dimensional stability. Useful for effective medical devices including drug delivery devices, surgical tools, in-vitro diagnostics, orthopedics and other healthcare segments. Applications include gears for conveyor drives, cams, structural components, electrical & electronic components, pump & tool housings, HVAC base pans & fan blades, panels, handles, brackets, components used in heavy equipments, plumbing fittings, valve bodies and power tools.
