RTP 205 TFE 13 SI 2 by RTP Company is a glass fiber filled Nylon 6/6 (PA 6/6) grade lubricated with PTFE and silicone. Exhibits good wear-, friction-, scratch- and mar resistance. It is able to withstand high temperatures, pressure, velocity, chemicals and demanding tolerances. Offers buzz-squeak-rattle (BSR) to eliminate noise caused by part movement and vibration with economical compound technology. It reduces stick-slip phenomenon by selecting materials based on Glide Factor data. Possible applications include bearings, bushings, gears, highly cosmetic parts, piston heads, pulleys, rollers, seals, skid plates and syringes. It replaces oils and grease applied in messy secondary operations with internally lubricated plastics. RTP 205 TFE 13 SI 2 is suitable for processing by injection molding.
