RTP 2502 FR

RTP 2502 FR by RTP Company is a non-PBBO/E, flame retardant polycarbonate and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (PC+ABS) alloy reinforced with 15% glass fiber. It exhibits increased ignition resistance, reduced smoke & fume generation, speed of flame spread and heat release. It provides good processability, toughness even at low temperatures, dimensional stability and high heat distortion temperature. It offers low temperature impact resistance, poor chemical resistance, weatherability and low fatigue endurance. It can be processed using injection molding. Applications include computer, electrical & electronics, industrial and business machine markets. RTP 2501 FR is recommended for housings, connectors, bezels, wire & cable coatings, tape storage products, strain reliefs, control housings for pumps, motors & test equipment, HVAC drain pans, plenum space covers and vents. It complies with the RoHS and UL94 V-0 flame rating.
