RTP 2503 FR

RTP 2503 FR by RTP Company is a polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) free, flame retardant, polycarbonate and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (PC+ABS) alloy reinforced with 20% glass fiber. It exhibits increased ignition resistance, reduced smoke & fume generation, speed of flame spread and heat release. It offers good processability, toughness even at low temperatures, dimensional stability and high heat distortion temperature. It provides low temperature impact resistance, poor chemical resistance, weatherability and low fatigue endurance. It can be processed using injection molding. It is recommended for computer and business machine markets, electrical & electronics and industrial applications. RTP 2503 FR is used in housings, connectors, bezels, wire & cable coatings, tape storage products, strain reliefs, control housings for pumps, motors & test equipment, HVAC drain pans, plenum space covers and vents. It complies with the RoHS and UL94 V-0 flame rating.
