RTP 283 C

RTP 283 C is a polyamide 11 (Nylon 11) grade reinforced with 20% carbon fiber and 79% renewable resource content. Enables low water absorption, good chemical resistance and ability to accept high loading filters. Has high cost and minimal heat resistance. Has improved tensile- and flexural- strength. It can be molded with less mold shrinkage because it is slightly less crystalline. Exhibits high modulus, good wear resistance and static electricity discharge characteristics and has potential for replacement of die cast metals, such as those used in moving textile machine parts. Is suitable for processing by injection molding.
