RTP 287 A

RTP 287 A is a tough, abrasion-resistant nylon (polyamide) 6 grade filled with 40% carbon fiber. Exhibits strength, stiffness and chemical resistance to hydrocarbons. Shows improved surface appearance, creep resistance and processability compared to nylon 6/6. It can be processed using injection molding. Suitable for use in applications where toughness, lubricity, and wear are important. Applications include pump & tool housings, HVAC base pans, fan blades, panels, handles, brackets, components used in heavy equipments, plumbing fittings, valve bodies, gears for conveyor drives and power tools.
