RTP 299 X 105417 by RTP Company is PTFE and molybdenum disulfide lubricated Nylon 6/6 (PA 6/6) grade reinforced with aramid fiber. It is able to withstand high temperatures, pressure, velocity, chemicals and demanding tolerances. Exhibits good wear-, friction-, scratch- and mar resistance. It replaces oils and grease applied in messy secondary operations with internally lubricated plastics. Possible applications include bearings, bushings, gears, highly cosmetic parts, piston heads, pulleys, rollers, seals, skid plates and syringes. It reduces stick-slip phenomenon by selecting materials based on Glide Factor data. Offers buzz-squeak-rattle (BSR) to eliminate noise caused by part movement and vibration with economical compound technology. RTP 299 X 105417 is suitable for processing by injection molding.
