RTP 381 EM

RTP 381 EM by RTP Company is a self-extinguishing, halogen free, polycarbonate (PC) grade reinforced with 10% carbon fiber. It exhibits easy molding, good creep resistance, toughness, dimensional stability and low fatigue endurance. It provides excellent impact strength, high heat resistance and good electrical properties. It is stable to water, mineral and organic acids, partially soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons and soluble in chlorinated compounds. It can be processed using injection molding. RTP 381 EM is used in pump & tool housings, HVAC base pans & fan blades, panels, handles, brackets, components used in heavy equipment, plumbing fittings, valve bodies, and gears for conveyor drives & power tools. It complies with the UL94 V-2 flame rating.
