RTP 387 by RTP Company is a polycarbonate (PC) grade reinforced with 40% carbon fiber. It exhibits good creep resistance, toughness, dimensional stability and low fatigue endurance. It provides excellent impact strength, high heat resistance and good electrical properties. It is stable to water, mineral and organic acids, partially soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons and soluble in chlorinated compounds. It can be processed using injection molding. RTP 387 is recommended for pump & tool housings, HVAC base pans & fan blades, panels, handles, brackets, components used in heavy equipment, plumbing fittings, valve bodies, and gears for conveyor drives & power tools.
