RTP 399 X 124855 B by RTP Company is glass fiber filled polycarbonate (PC) grade. Exhibits good wear-, friction-, scratch- and mar resistance. It is an all polymeric wear additive (APWA) suitable for processing by injection molding. It reduces stick-slip phenomenon by selecting materials based on Glide Factor data. It replaces oils and grease applied in messy secondary operations with internally lubricated plastics. Possible applications include bearings, bushings, gears, highly cosmetic parts, piston heads, pulleys, rollers, seals, skid plates and syringes. It is able to withstand high temperatures, pressure, velocity, chemicals and demanding tolerances. RTP 399 X 124855 B offers buzz-squeak-rattle (BSR) to eliminate noise caused by part movement and vibration with economical compound technology.
