RTP 4000 ABR

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by RTP Company
RTP 4000 ABR by RTP Company is polyphthalamide (PPA) grade with abrasion resistance against third-party abraders. It reduces stick-slip phenomenon by selecting materials based on Glide Factor data. Exhibits good wear and friction resistance, flame retardancy and conductivity. Applicable for both lower and higher volume applications. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Possible applications include bearings, bushings, gears, highly cosmetic parts, piston heads, pulleys, rollers, seals, skid plates and syringes. Offers buzz-squeak-rattle (BSR) to eliminate noise caused by part movement and vibration with economical compound technology. It is able to withstand high temperatures, pressure, velocity, chemicals and demanding tolerances. Provides good scratch and mar resistance. It replaces oils and grease applied in messy secondary operations with internally lubricated plastics. RTP 4000 ABR eliminates costly secondary processing, thereby reducing overall total cost.
