RTP 4300 S-1020 Z is an amorphous, autoclaveable polysulfone/ polycarbonate alloy (PSU/PC) reinforced with 20% glass fiber. Exhibits heat resistance, self-extinguishing, good electrical property and hydrolytic stability. Provides important cost/performance benefits. Displays excellent dimensional stability, good heat distortion, good mechanical properties, and steam & hot water resistance. It can be an excellent alternative to metal in applications where strength and toughness are important. Applications include medical, food & beverage equipments, biological contacts and institutional feeding systems. RTP 4300 S-1020 Z is also suitable for electricals, electronics, pump & tool housings, HVAC base pans & fan blades, panels, handles, brackets, components used in heavy equipments, plumbing fittings, valve bodies, gears for conveyor drives and power tools.
