RTP 703 ABR

RTP 703 ABR by RTP Company is an abrasion resistant high density polyethylene (HDPE) grade reinforced with 20% glass fiber. It reduces stick-slip phenomenon by selecting materials based on Glide Factor data. It is able to withstand high temperatures, pressure, velocity, chemicals and demanding tolerances. Exhibits good wear and friction resistance, flame retardancy and conductivity against third-party abraders. Possible applications include bearings, bushings, gears, highly cosmetic parts, piston heads, pulleys, rollers, seals, skid plates and syringes. Offers buzz-squeak-rattle (BSR) to eliminate noise caused by part movement and vibration with economical compound technology. It replaces oils and grease applied in messy secondary operations with internally lubricated plastics. Applicable for both lower and higher volume applications. Suitable for processing by injection molding and eliminates costly secondary processing, thereby reducing overall total cost. RTP 703 ABR provides good scratch and mar resistance.
