FLEX NORYL™ Resin WCA955 (Asia)

FLEX NORYL™ Resin WCA955 (Asia) by SABIC is a flexible, ductile, non-halogenated and flame retarded blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). It is a non-chlorinated and non-brominated grade. It exhibits superior thermal stability, very low water absorption, good electrical properties and low specific gravity. It offers hydrolytic stability, low creep sensitivity, good processability. It is used in thin-walled applications, electronics, electrical components and infrastructure. It is suitable for processing by wire extrusion coating. FLEX NORYL™ Resin WCA955 (Asia) meets UL VW-1 requirements, 105°C end-use temperature rating and heat deformation performance as defined by UL 1581. It is intended for evaluation in wire insulation, especially internal wire applications in dark colors. It is also suitable for coating AWG26 and AWG28 copper conductors.
