FLEX NORYL™ Resin WCD883A (Asia)

FLEX NORYL™ Resin WCD883A (Asia) by SABIC is a flexible, ductile, non-halogenated and flame retarded extrudable blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). It offers hydrolytic stability, mold release, low creep sensitivity, good processability. It exhibits superior thermal stability, very low water absorption, good electrical properties and low specific gravity. It is a heat stabilized, impact modified, non-chlorinated and non-brominated grade. The processing is typically conducted on standard extrusion equipment, and UL 1581 testing is conducted on 2.0mm wire with 0.12mm X 20 stranded copper conductor. FLEX NORYL™ Resin WCD883A (Asia) is recommended for electrical components, electronic devices, displays and infrastructure. It is suitable for thin-walled applications and wire extrusion coatings. It meets EN 50265-2-1 requirements. It is developed for evaluation in AC cable jacket applications such as HD 21.14 flexible cables that require EU VDE and dark color.
