LEXAN™ Copolymer XHT3171 (Americas) by SABIC is a non-reinforced, heat stabilized polycarbonate (PC) copolymer. It offers mold release, high heat resistance and high flow. It is processed by injection molding. It enables high aesthetics, thin wall and complex designs. It is used in defense, lawn and landscape, pharmaceutical, outdoor and water management applications. It is recommended for building and construction, home and commercial appliances, industrial material handling and aerospace. LEXAN™ Copolymer XHT3171 (Americas) is suitable for automotive interiors, under the hood and exteriors, ophthalmic, personal accessory and consumer goods like lighting. It is also used in healthcare such as patient testing, surgical, fluid and blood handling, medical facility infrastructure, mass transportation like recreational and specialty vehicles.
