NORYL GTX™ Resin GTX985 is a 18% mineral filled PPE/PA blend. It combines the dimensional stability, low water absorption and heat resistance of PPE polymer with the chemical resistance and flow of PA polymer. The result is an extremely chemically resistant material with high stiffness, minimum mold shrinkage, impact resistance and superior heat resistance with conductivity. It offers broad resistance to automotive fuels, greases, and oils as well as detergents, alcohols, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, and alkaline chemicals. Maintains dimensional stability and complex geometry over time. Also offers very low moisture absorption compared to polyamide alone. It is capable of taking a Class A surface for high-visibility applications. Processed by injection molding. Recommended for electrostatic painting applications.
