SABIC® PP 519A

SABIC® PP 519A is a polypropylene (PP) homo-polymer. Is a controlled rheology grade and possesses very narrow molecular distribution and optimized additive package (reduces machine cleaning frequency due to slower build up of die deposits). Provides good thread line stability, color consistency and gas fading resistance. Offers excellent fiber thickness uniformity, resulting in lower number of filament breakage, excellent fabric appearance, softness and tensile properties. Produces lightweight, very soft non woven fabric. Can be processed at 10-15º degrees lower than the average temperature for conventional materials. Processed by fiber extrusion and suitable for high speed production of fine filament spun bond fabrics, ideal for diaper liners and feminine hygiene products. Compliant with U.S. Food and Drug Administration and European Commission regulations for food contact.
